What is the Connection Compass?
The Connection Compass is a tool to help you build a habit around checking in with your partner. In the summer of 2024, we held a survey asking you about your experience with the Odder Being cards. Although everyone was super enthusiastic, we also learned that most of you only used the cards once or twice. Meanwhile, checking in with each other regularly is what helps you stay connected and spot any issues before they wreck your relationship. The Connection Compass helps with that!
Who can use the Connection Compass?
You can use the Connection Compass regardless of your gender, orientation, and relationship dynamic. It’s especially great if you tend to avoid having deep conversations or if life tends to get busy and you want to be more mindful about making time for each other.
What’s inside?
The Connection Compass helps you set up a regular check-in moment with your partner(s). You’ll get tips for choosing a moment and setting the space, preparing upfront, and a template with some questions you can use as a guideline.
Can I use the Connection Compass with the Odder Being cards?
You can use it both with and without our cards (like the Polyamory Conversation Cards or the Vision Cards for Your Relationship). Use the Connection Compass as a structure and then use the cards to dive deep into a particular topic and discuss what each of you needs.
